Carol Adams McLean said… - We'll have sign up, flags and a waiver for riders to sign in at Spartanburg or in Irmo. Call the number if you're almost there at 11 and we'll wait for you. We have extras if folks just show up.

Here's the itinerary.
8:30 am Register for ride at Pigeon River Rustics in Horse, Shoe, NC (contact (828) 275 4057 if delayed)
9:00 am Departure
10:15 am Arrive at WestGate Mall in Spartanburg (Exit 21, off I 26) near Costco to pick up additional riders
11:00 am Depart Spartanburg
12:00 pm Arrive Harley Haven, Irmo, SC
1:00 Poker Run - The entire poker run route will only take about 1 1/2 hours, so we'll have the whole after noon. Scorecards, maps and letters to congressmen will be provided.
4:30 pm - Poker Run final card draw and submission at Township Auditorium. Doors to Save The Nation open
5:30 pm - Save The Nation Rally with Neal Boortz and Mike Huckabee... rumor has it that Sean Hannity may broadcast his show from there later in the evening! Brian Whitcomb from RoadKill Side Show at Sandy Springs Radio will also be there.

Please join your states group under the 'Groups" tab at the top. We are planning a huge year for the FairTax in 2009 so you came to the right place.
Please invite every FairTax supporter you know to join as well. We want to build an army of supporters as quickly as we can.

Welcome to FairTax Nation!
FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.
On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
