FairTax Splinter Groups

FairTax Splinter Groups can be found just about everywhere; on the internet and in your local communities. Facebook is the primary culprit with ~50 different pages dedicated to the FairTax, dozens of people who have created FairTax related accounts that violate Facebook's Terms of Service, and a couple dozen FairTax Groups (not to be confused with pages). There are also many FairTax groups I've found on LinkedIn, Meetup, and various websites scattered around the internet.

The question that concerns me is, just how much are they helping? If the page/group admin doesn't put out the correct information in a timely manner, then the group (in my eyes) is more of a distraction than an assistance. This is where Fair Tax Nation comes in. FairTaxNation should be the HUB for all FairTax related events. If it is happening in the FairTax world, then FairTaxNation should know about it. This site is already set up to provide FairTaxers in all 50 states with the information they need to not only become a part of their local community, but to help their local community flourish and to show your Representative and Senators that the FairTax does have the power to make or break their career. The technology is here, we just need to let people know that it is here and how they can use it to their benefit.

I firmly believe it is in our best interest to fully support and rely on Fair Tax Nation to help us grow individually with the FairTax and as a group with our local constituents. But to do this, we must be able to help Fair Tax Nation become a sustainable resource.
