Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Q: How can you help FairTax Nation become a sustainable resource?

It won't take much, really. There are currently fewer than 10,000 members on FairTax Nation (FTN); I'm estimating about 10% of them are active within any given month. If we all pool our own resources, each of us can do our own little part to help FTN grow.

For those of you who have little time but still want to contribute, an idea to help FTN grow would be to show up for 2 minutes once or twice per week and share your "My Page" either on Twitter or  Facebook. If your friends see that you're active here, the chances of them also joining are greater.

If you find yourself with a little more time, instead of logging into Facebook right when you wake up, do you think you could log in to FTN at least ONE of those days? Spend an hour or so perusing the site, visiting and liking the members section to see who you may know, check out the ever-growing Groups for events in your area; and say hi to others in the Live Chat area.

For you FairTax Geeks (myself included), try reaching out to your friends en masse. There are a number of ways to invite your friends to FTN. Just click the "Invite" link at the top-left of the page and read. If you still want to interact with your Facebook (and Twitter) Friends, you can still do that from FTN simply by sharing posts that you like (or posts that you write).

If you feel that my suggestions don't include you, please feel free to post a comment here and ask if there is anything you might be able to help with. If anyone else has any suggestions, please post them.

Take care,

- Robert Williams

We need help with the Riverbend Music Festival, Chattanooga, TN, June 8 - 16th.   Volunteers to help distribute Fair Tax Literature promoting the drawing for the Kindle Fires and also promoting Fair Tax by bringing them to Fair Tax Nation.Com.  We are hoping to distribute 100,000 pieces of literature during the 9 day period.  We also plan on having fun...check out Riverbend Festival.  It is in the top 10% worldwide of all music festivals, and is in it's 31st year! It is expected to draw over 700,000 people this year.  There are over 100 groups entertaining and the cost is only $32 for all 9 days!  Hope you can join us, it will be fun.  We also are accepting donations to help offset the cost of printing.  All gifts, no matter how small are appreciated.

Thank you for all that you do Robert.  We are all working hard to establish a real presence for Fair Tax Nation to get Fair Tax passed within the next 2 years.  Energizing our base and creating a synergy that will get our message out to large numbers of people. Most of us know that our biggest challenge is getting the word out.  Many people have never heard of Fair Tax, HR25/S13 and we have to change that by being present every day (in shifts) somewhere in the country.  The upcoming River Bend Festival in Chattanooga, TN is going to put us in front of almost 3/4 of a million people, the first of many large events to come. Prior to River Bend we will be present at The San Bernardino Country Fair and expect 140,000 visitors.  Wouldn't it be great if we had a presence at all County Fairs throughout the country. We will be present at River Bend with practically no money and it will serve as a real training ground for covering  very large events. When you think about it, River Bend will be about 35 times larger than the Iowa Straw Poles, and just about the size the most major events in Washington, DC.  The difference is the attendees are going to have fun and hear great music...very American!  Thanks to Nancy Keesee, District Director in California for providing 3 Kindle Fire's for the drawings being promoted by Fair Tax Nation, and all the other folks like, Bill Payne, Marilyn Rickert, you and countless others that are giving time and money to promote this event.  You are the chief computer guy and Bill Payne is our Chattanooga Leader, and of course Marilyn is involved in all aspects or organizing.  We do need Fair Tax Supporters to become engaged and help out as volunteers in Chattanooga. Of course a little money to get printing (mainly), hands outs alone will cost around $2,700 and we could use a lot more.  On the ground in Chattanooga we could use 100 or more people. Working and learning together will make Fair Tax Nation a sustainable resource.  Action speaks louder than words!

Rob, some time back we talked about a 100 club to recognize those individuals that personally recruit 100 or more new members to Fair Tax Nation.  Even Sheriff Mack does it...think Pickens Plan was the most successful that I have seen.  This way every individual has a score card on their individual recruiting results. We had over 2100 people recruited for Pickens in one day at one event in Mary Bono Macks District. I recruited 131 people personally in a single day at a local college.  Point is we make recruiting a top priority without further delay.  We are going to need millions of supporters to convince congress that we are drop dead serious and we aren't going to take no for an answer.

Hope everyone that makes it to the Riverbend Festival will be decked out if a Fair Tax Nation T Shirts.  Think I will have to order 4 or 5 more if I am going to stay for 10 days!  Will also need a plantation hat for that hot Chattanooga Sun!

Thanks John! That is greatly appreciated. We are trying to raise funds for advertising by selling our Fair Tax Nation shirts. They can be found here: http://www.cafepress.com/TXFairTaxer/8663173

And these are specifically for the State Directors: http://www.cafepress.com/TXFairTaxer/8666592

Robert, you have been doing a great job with Fair Tax Nation. What a great bunch of people Fair Tax Naition has.  Send a buck or two to help grow the effort...less than 1% is spent on fund raising!  Thank you for all that you do!

Done.

Good question, Jim. This may be a little simpler than you expect. Just 5 Steps and you will have your homepage set to FairTaxNation.com

First, make sure that any tabs you DO NOT want to open every time you open FireFox (FF) are closed. If they are open, then by the time we are done here they will open every time you open FF.

1. Make sure that each open tab is set to the page that you want to open.

2. Find and click on "Tools" (or depress ALT+T), then click on "Options".

3. In the dialog box that opened up, switch to the "General" Tab (first tab on the left).

4. Find and click on the Button that says "Use Current Pages".

5. Click OK.

That's it, you're done! Congrats!!

Excellent idea.

I wonder if I can figure out how to make FTN the page that pulls up when I first pull up FireFox.  Any of you smart computer people know how to do that?
