Comment by Joe McCune on April 4, 2009 at 8:32pm: I just about voted for the flat tax, after filling out my name etc. saw the tab to vote for tax reform and almost hit it before looking at the top of the page to see that flat tax was the default. Luckily I saw it before I voted for tax reform.

Their poll is set up so that the flat tax is the default. FairTaxers are voting for flat tax by unknowingly. Even though that is true, FairTax is STILL kicking the crap out of the flat tax on their own site.

I would rather make $50,000 or less and file no tax return when the wealthy can have the FairTax or the hard working middle class can work for two tax free paychecks and make as much as they can or become so good at it, they start their own tax free business like Joe the Plumber wanted to do.
