Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25
Stimulus Plan
The words of a great man spoken many years ago describe why the Stimulus plan put froth by our present leaders will not work.
"You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot help small men by tearing down big men. You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer. You cannot keep out of trouble by sending more of your income. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatreds. You cannot establish security on borrowed money. You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man’s initiative and Independence. You cannot help man permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves." (Abraham Lincoln)
FairTax is the only Stimulus Plan that will move out nation foreword. Therefore it is necessary for all of us to redouble our efforts to get HR25/S296 into law.

James some of the top economists in the nation spent from 1995 to 1999 coming up with the FairTax proposal and the supporters of the movement paid more than 23 million for that study. I doubt that "tweaking" this proposed legislation is a good idea. We must also remember that the original tax code was simple and straight forward but with the tweaking done by our congress it has become a 67,000 page nightmare that almost no one under stands. I can not agree that we need anything done to the proposed legislation.
The marching orders for the people putting this together wanted the federal government to receive the same amount in revenue, have a way to untax the poor, and be fair to all; that is what we have in HR25/S296.l

The FairTax can afford a little tweak. I want to speak with an economist about the PreBate. Like what would it do if everyone got twice as much at the first of the month? Go to Groups and help us start Da Blues Group.
