STORM the HILL 2/8-9/2011 FairTax Train Party.

The Silver Meteor (Amtrak) train runs from Miami Fl up the East Coast to DC and arrives at Union Station at 7:45 AM each day.  The cost of a train ticket can be the same or less than a plane ticket depending upon the location.  Yes, the train is much faster, but consider the opportunities.

I have booked space for my spouse and I from Winter Park, FL.  The cost is$171 for both of us.  We can have three checked bags and two carry-ons.  We can bring our own food and drinks.  We do not have to go through scanners or get patted down.  I have 17 hours to talk to a captive group (other passengers) to educate them on the FairTax!

People in SC and NC along the route can catch the train in the evening of 2/8/2011 and arrive in DC the morning of STORM the HILL, spend the day in DC and catch the return train in DC at 7:30PM to be home the following morning for less than $200.  The coach seats can be comfortable to sleep on the train.  You would only miss on day at work.  You could also help talk to people about the FairTax.

If we have a good group of FairTax Supporters on the train, we could have a party.

This is only one train route.  How about a train from Chicago, Memphis, Atlanta or other routes that are direct to DC.  Check out your area and see how the timing would be.
