What are the Community Coordinators doing in your State?

Just wondering what the community coordinators are doing around our country.

Holding meetings of local supporters. The group looks at what events, sites where tables can be set up (outside Wal-Mart; near the Post Office on 4/15) to promote the Fair Tax. Looking for local Homeowner associations, clubs, business groups etc where presentations can be conducted etc. The local group has different individuals to head committees to check out these activities within the geographic area. The Community Coordinator gathers the input from each committee and leads the meeting of the group. The CC then lets the District Director (DD) know what they are doing. The District Director is the lead person in a congressional district. This may work in some States, but not others based upon the way the congressional district lines are drawn. Florida is looking at using more of a county grouping as many districts include parts of many counties. Also a county will have several congressional districts in it! The lines were drawn by politicians, what would expect.

This community coordinator is the only one in my district...the only District Director is on the westside so I am focusing on lots of local things (on the raido, out in front of Walmart, business to business) and this site is going to help connect me with others in our state as well as my Cong. District because my Cong. Dist covers a HUGE land area -- a 2+hour drive from one end to the other. The WARMER weather will allow more OUTSIDE opportunities to be seen.
