Sounds Perfect, and it is what I will use to describe the group in the future to people that I invite.

Yes! It is only through a concerted and connected voice that reaches across the nation that will enable us to speak with enough volume to demand the attention of our policy makers that the Fairtax will become a reality. I applaud the focus of this mission statement. Count me in!!

I like it as well. The only addition I would make would be to add activists to the first sentence, "supporters and activists nationwide, ". This would help casual visitors to understand that the site is for both those who like the FairTax, but aren't interested in taking an active role, as well as those who are interested in "getting their hands dirty".
