Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Need FairTaxNation volunteers at NTU event in DC on June 11-13 (Updated Info)

Who can I count on to keep me out of trouble? Anyone?

The website for the event is: http://www.ntu.org/main/page.php?PageID=164

We get 4 free admissions with our booth.

Room rate at the hotel where the conference is held is $169.00 per night. Same price as the hotel I stayed at. (Rooms are cheaper in Feb.).

Last time there was no back drop so we may need a stand alone sign.

That is all I have for now. Our booth fee is paid for but we did not cosponsor.

Forgive my ignorance, what is NTU?
National Taxpayers Union.
Believe me, if I could afford to go, I would gladly help out. So frustrating!
Nancy,

This is why we need people to step up to the plate and help with the fund raising. Even if everyone just contributed 5 or 10 bucks a month, we would be ableto make sure that we had a proprerly prepared volunteer staff at these events.
I'm chipping in every time I get paid. If all members of FTN (not counting those that have already made generous contributions) would chip in just $5.00 every pay day we would be growing like crazy!

Barb is trying to charter a bus for the Missouri event and I'm going to try to make that. I'm also planning to do the Tea Party in DC in September.

Meantime, I've scheduled the first meeting in my area and trying to help Teresa Geron get the Columbus Caravan off the ground; hopefully I can be of assistance to her with the Columbus group.

I'm disabled and my income is extremely limited. Not complaining, mind you; I'm a very blessed person. I'm a classic example of poor planning, in my opinion. I was a nurse and a chemical dependency counselor. Now I subsist on Soc. Sec. and a small pt menial job that keeps me off food stamps. Yep, I'm one of those that hates to depend on the government to care for me. I'm grateful for what I have but I'll work as much as I am able to care for myself.

Every buck I spend is going where it counts. There is one PAC I'm financially committed to (and they support Fair Tax) and then Fair Tax itself.

I agree with you. America needs the Fair Tax more now ever before. I firmly believe that it's our only economic salvation. We've all got to chip in.
Just got my drivers liscense today, so I should be able to make it if I'm not on duty that day. We'll see.
Congratulations on the drivers license Joshua - are you in the Navy?
I'll see if I can make it - but I wouldn't count on me keeping you out of trouble if I were you :)
I'd go if the expenses would permit. It's frustrating these Fair Tax events are too far to the south or west.
JIm,

I should be able to help out at least 1 day. My schedule has been so crazy, i do not know what is going to happen one day to the next.

Mark
Mark,

Please let me know what day you can help. We have openings for 3 more people per day.
See this link for more info: http://www.ntu.org/main/page.php?PageID=164

Dates and times: Date: from 6/11/2009 7:00 pm to 6/13/2009 2:00 pm (Eastern Time)

There is a $99 registration fee if you register by 4/30, $129 after that date until 6/09. I don't know if a "group" rate is available. Maybe Jim can work something.

I suggest that all those planning to go book at the same hotel - perhaps we can get a discount on the rooms and it would be a great way for us to get to know each other better, compare notes and share thoughts and ideas.
