I am sick of hearing our money is spent on non americans and I think it's time someone thinks about us the real american people. We have people here in the U.S. that are starving and can't pay their bills because of the economy and are losing their jobs because of this Nafta treaty, I being one of them. I need help to !!! I have bills to pay and a child to raze. Where is my help when I need it? Why can't my child go to college free? Oh! I forgot I am a legal citizen of the United States. I have to pay money in so these illegals can get everything handed over to them. Thanks for nothing!!!

I'm angry for you. None of us is in a position where we're protected from this (at least I don't think we have any one on here who is independently wealthy). Because you fall outside a special interest group, you are used and abused by our current system.
I'm also counting on you. This anger you feel will very likely be the catalyst for change in the system that is unjust. More will be in your position next year, and even more the following year. Let's use this anger to fix the problem.
Nafta has gotten a bad rap. It's been blamed for chasing jobs out of the USA because it levels the playing field for trade with our neighbors. But if we had the FairTax, would it? No. The real culprit is the payroll tax and corporate taxes. That's where the playing field is stacked against us, with or without NAFTA.
Illegals in our country enjoying with more ease our social safety net will also become more of an issue. In NC, a new fee to all auto insurance is taking effect within the month. Every policy will pay $17 more to pay for uninsured drivers, the majority I believe are illegal, since a citizen has too much to lose to drive without insurance (at least for the time being). Just another reason to be angry. And another area FairTax will impact.
Use your anger constructively. If you need personal assistance, go to your church or a private organization. I've found so much help when needed. You'd be surprised. It's never easy asking for help, but at least they'll treat you as a human, unlike the govt system, that sees you as one steer in a herd of cattle, identified by a number they'll soon want to tag on your ear. The govt system is used to seeing people with no wherewithal to provide for themselves. You're better than that... or else you wouldn't be angry.

I FEEL OUR GOVERNMENT HAS BENT OVER BACKWARD TO HELP THE WRONG PEOPLE. WE HAVE MILLIONS OF HARD WORKING POOR. THEY CAN'T AFFORD INSURANCE, DECENT HOUSING, THEY PAY TAXES BUT ARE DENIED HELP WHEN THEY NEED IT. THIS IS NOT A RACE ISSUE. IT APPLIES TO ALL.

sometime it can be happened what we should never to happen . . the your government will sure think about it to overcome from such problems or whatever happening there .. And the money of fair trade of country is always thinking to progress only their citizens . . not others Fair trade products
