July 4 Tea Parties
Tea Parties are beginning to take shape for the 4th. Anyone that can make themselves available to speak, please be thinking about it now. Speech writers, you could be thinking about 5 to 15 minute speeches.
Everyone, please try to keep that date open for you to attend the party nearest you. They're usually anywhere from an hour to four hours long, depending on the location. Wear your FairTax apparel, carry your signs, have your literature in hand. Get your friends, your families, etc. to come with you. Make it a fun family day doing something awesome for your country!
I urge you all to visit this site, http://www.teapartyday.com/Locations.aspx, to contact local organizers. In the Col., OH area, visit http://shotsonthehouse.com/?page_id=1334. Request to provide a speaker or become a volunteer. Ask if you can set up a FairTax table.
If you find out about a party in your area, please post here and in the events section.
Remember, even if you're the only FairTaxer at your party, you've brought FairTax one step closer.
Don't engage in partisan politics; let the politicians and the media do that since they so enjoy dividing us. Always inform folks that this is a non paritsan issue and we can let those idiots in the Beltway try to divide us. They won't succeed. We're on common ground. Stay focused and try to keep your personal opinions to yourself. (Trust me, I've got my opinions and my family has to suffer them!) Give yourself credit, you're smarter than they, the media and the Beltway, think you are. We are the citizens of the United States of America.

Oklahoma City had to postpone there's until Sept 12th due to lack of funds for planning :(
But if you've not been to one of these yet....please go!
Take the time, take the family.....these are history (regardless of what most in the media have said).
Trust me...you will not regret it.

I attended the Tax Day party in Col, OH. But I've never attended a FairTax rally, and man, am I pumped about the Midwest Fair Tax Rally! Tony, I really hope you're there.
That's ok for Oklahoma City. We do what we can, when we can. I think Sept. 12 is a great date! That date is really an advantage, I'm sorry to say. I'm hoping to attend the Washington DC event on that date. I'm not much of a traveller, but for the FairTax, I'll do whatever I can.
On Sept. 3, we have a huge parade in my small city of Marion, OH, and I'm entering FairTax in the parade. People will know the FairTax, by George, or my name ain't Nancy. LOL
Tony, I'm glad you're here. Your presence is more inspiring than you know.
