Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

I wish to express my own and personal sincere thanks and gratitude to all of you that responded to our call for your financial support in meeting our goal to help us to go back to the CPAC event that will be held during February of next year.

Without your efforts and generosity, it would have been impossible for FairTax Nation to return to one of the premier events in the country to promote our cause and keep the FairTax debate in the forefront of other national issues.

Well done Citizens! Thank you!!

> Sean, Great talking with you last night. You kept the most important topic, the 4-15 rally in front of the others, and that was a good thing. I will now go on to another topic that is important in the extreme.
As FairTax supporters we all need to recognize that we are in a minority. Fund raising is so important that it should be our biggest concern. There were 63 persons or groups that contributed to the CPAC fund raising effort. This is not enough! Now I'm not saying that everyone in the organization can afford to contribute to the extent that those 63 did. However if each member were to give 1 dollar, just 1 dollar, it would have ensured our participation in CPAC and more. I think it is very important that this is realized by each and every member.
Should we go to having membership dues? One dollar per year? Just as AFFT found we can't continue unfunded. We are now at the point where we cannot continue unless there is a funding base.
The FairTax is such a great solution to the US conundrum that it has to be enacted, but it's most active supporters will have to assume a leadership position and force the politicians and media to recognize it before Congress will ever take it up. It is up to the people who are on this website to promote it or it will go away.
Have you checked out goooh.com? Let's quit relying on convincing current leadership to consider the FairTax. If they do, great, but if not we need to put regular citizens in office who will do what is right for this country. 80% of goooh participants say they would vote for the FairTax.
Cary,

I know my response is a little tardy, but I've been a little busy lately.

I was personally very pleased that you were able to join the call and it was great talking with you as well - thank you for your participation!

I have to agree with you that fund raising should be our biggest concern and I have been trying to get this point across for a while now. As you say, without funding, we cannot continue. I am kind of curious about how you know that there were 63 persons or groups that contributed to our plea for help.

At this point, I'm not sure about having membership dues. While $1 is certainly a minuscule amount, I fear that potential new members may be taken just a little bit aback with having to pay anything in order to join FairTax Nation, and your never know what we might miss in terms of talent and dedication as a result.

We're doing the best we can to get our most active supporters, whoever they may be, to step up to the plate and assume leadership positions.
Woooo Hoooo!!! I think it would be VERY advantageous to NOW list all the events & their COST for FairTax To be there...Along with a link and explanation as to the where, what and whys!

The other thing I think is important is that "citizens" also need to be informed! I know a booth at our local county Fair is $600. I just used my hobby money to pay for 3/4 of a table at a Farm Bureau Trade Show. Others give by way of time...

What about a "BLAST" e-mail asking everyone to get a jar of their choosing and start putting their change in it to be ready for the next event?

More than anything I think "education as to the what, where and why" is vital for the support. TAKE PICTURES & maybe even videos to be shown on here so that those who have been a part of the fund raising can see some of the results!

Sure hope we see a surge in membership after the event!!! And BEFORE for that matter!!!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! It is great when we can work together and contribute in the ways we are afforded!
Apologies again for missing the call, I have no excuse other than I had a customer in about a computer (I do computer repairs on the side) and she was most irrate about her trouble.

Will there be a call in December or is the next one in January?!?!?

On another note.....HOLY CR@P the fundraising went awesome!!!
The recession is biting deep everywhere....but people no a win-win situtation when they see it!!
Hi Tony.

We missed you! But I will tell anyone who will listen that taking care of family and business comes first, so you are excused. Yes, there will be another call in December - I think maybe on the 3rd, I hope you will be able to make it. There is also consideration being given to holding these calls every two weeks since so much remains to be done.

And yes, thanks to all of our dedicated citizens, the fund-raising effort went very well - not only did we garner enough support to cover the CPAC registration, but also most of the cost for materials as well. May God bless them all!

Meanwhile, there are a lot of ideas and thoughts being floated around, some of them very exciting - you'll have to tune in to find out what they are.
Dec 3rd...got it!! Thank you
