We traveled to Columbus this evening (5/20) and attended a FairTax vs Flat Tax challenge. You missed a very interesting discussion if you weren't there. I am sure FairTax won. John Harrington was for FairTax and Rob Wagner was for Flat Tax. Hope to see you next time. Billie in Beavercreek

I will be attending the FairTax/FlatTax debate.
Please note the time change... It has been moved BACK one week to May 20th, same place and time otherwise.
I look forward to seeing some of you there.

You can place an ad in the events section of the newspaper for free, about the upcoming Caravan. Where are those other members of the Columbus group? As far as monthly meetings go, even if there are only a couple of you to start, that's ok.
I'm starting mine here in Marion on May 7. The ad in the paper will state that the purpose is to educate the public about the Fair Tax, then we'll go from there.

Mary Anne Noble has found a canidate that she supports. Check him out and see what you think. We need good people to run for office; but if no one knows about them it will do no good. Please find good people to run for any office. Then let us know who they are. Mary Ann's choice is:

Chris Long and he is running for City council at large in Reynoldsburg.

Come on you Columbus Fair Taxers! Take a little time out of your Sat. morning on May 9. We've got to strike now while the iron is [getting] hot!

We will meet at the corner of SR315 & Bethel Road in the K-Mart parking lot at Noon. We will Circle Columbus on the outer belt, I-270; this should take about an hour. We will end where we started and have lunch, cup of coffee & introduce ourselves. There is a Panera Bread in the same Strip Mall.
Hope to see you there!

Is there a meeting scheduled yet for the Columbus group? I'd like to attend. I'd like to attend a meeting before I have my first one here in Marion, if I can. If not, I can wing it. Columbus isn't so far that I can't drive down to help support.

Will you be attending the Columbus Tea Party? It would be great if we could hook up there.
