I have a contact from MD from our petition - to whom do I send his info?

I get the same comments, Mike, and it is discouraging. We probably get more support based on the wasted time and effort that people see involved in income tax than their recognition of the damage the tax does to incentives and future generations. i talk to people all the time about FairTax and all like it but few think it has any chance and less are willing to work for it. A lot was missed by not getting the pre 2006 Congress to act. Now there is little chance Pelosie would even let it come up for a vote. i think there is a fair chance Reid will loose his next election, but doubt if whoever comes next will be more favorable on FairTax, and i don't think obama would sign it into law if congress passed it unanimously!
Ground work is more important than ever.

Marilyn, How was you meeting in the DC? Was there a good turn out?

To build our Grassroots efforts in the D.C. area, I plan to host an informal FairTax "tea party" at the Days Inn Hotel http://www.dcdaysinn.com/

Sunday afternoon March 1 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

I have a conference room that will hold a dozen people, but I would be happy to look for a larger meeting room to accommodate additional FairTax advocates as needed.

RSVPs would be greatly appreciated

Time: March 1, 2009 from 1pm to 3pm
Location: Days Inn Connecticut Avenue
Street: 4400 Connecticut Avenue, NW
City/Town: Washington, D.C. 20008

Contact Info: 708-227-8542
