People tell me that if they would put it to a vote, they would vote for it. But it is up to Washington and they will not do anything that is good for America. I agree with those responses but it is frustrating because everyone is so used to what Washington does that they take the easy road and not do anything. Most people tell me that it a waste to write to a congressman, they will not read it. Being in retail and having the opportunites to promote the Fair Tax has it's rewards but it has it's tough cookies too!

We FairTaxers have to take more of the offensive on this kind of thing.
Challenge them with a question like...if you are for the FairTax what are you doing or will you do to help get it passed.
Another response I have begun using is... with that kind of attitude you ar correct it will not get passed, help us its for all of us.
Guide them to this site where they can contact their elected officials form hoem.

I get so upset with how things are going and they way the washington cats spend to try and solve this mess! I wish they would wake up! I pass out the articles on Fair Tax at my stores and get a lot of conversation going but it seems evreyone who agrees or knows about it, their favorite comment is "it will never happen". I may be wrong, but it is worth fighting for and it is driving me nuts!

Thanks for the invite! Happy to be here! Wow! If we had the FairTax right now, we sure would be in a better situation. Obama wouldn't be able to punish some while rewarding others. Also, in my opinion, the FairTax is the answer to the illegal alien problem. The FairTax may be just the ticket to unseat Obama in 2012.
