The Grass Roots Cafe in Horse Shoe, NC is hosting a "Meet & Greet" the Sunday, March 14 at 2 pm. Candidates Dan Eichenbaum, Jeff Miller, Greg Newman, Kenny West, James Howard & Ed Krause have been invited to answer your questions about the issues that interest you the most. At this time, Howard, Eichenbaum & West have confirmed, Newma...n & Miller are probable; Ed Krause has sent his regrets that he cannot attend.

Here's your chance to find the answers to your questions in a casual atmosphere. As the primary nears and schedules become more hectic, we may not have this opportunity again. It's also our chance to get involved in the change we each want to see happen. If we want our candidates to represent us, this is the time to choose a candidate and stand up to support your man.

The Fairtax rally at Hendersonville High School on Friday the 10th was very well executed. Peter Critikos and TJ Broom organized and spoke very intelligently about the Fairtax to their fellow classmates and a few parents. Their student body president came as well as their government/politics teacher who is very knowledgeable about the Fairtax. After a short introduction from Peter and TJ, they showed the FT video and then we had a robust question and answer session. Of the 20 students/people there, all seemed sold on the Fairtax at the end of the evening!

Great answers to the prebate question.

The Social Security Administration is already sending out millions of monthly payments to qualified social security card carrying eligible citizens. They could expand heir effort to send all the rebate checks or the big banks will do it for a fee. They probably would credit checking accounts or credit cards as much as possible.
