Hey District 5, I joined a little while back, I have put together a tri-fold flyer I want you guys to look at and see if we can use it to educate the public. Look on the Nation page under discussion: Most Efficient Way to educate the public,

Hey folks, thought I'd jump back on here while I had the chance.
Friday was an interesting day... my daughter was in Raleigh Thursday, and called me that evening to let me know her alternator belt had broken on her car - left on the side of 540. So Friday morning I spent on the side of the road replacing the belt, done around 1 PM. Got to the GOP conference around 3:30 after a shower and change at my son's.
It was great to meet with other supporters of the Fair Tax, and the conversation was practically non-stop. Got a chance to talk with several of the delegates - most were fairly receptive, but almost all did not know much beyond what they had heard form various sources. Had a few "heated" discussions as well, but no one went away mad, just challenged. I think I am actually going to sit and read that whole bill - a pot of coffee and a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Gotta go! Welcome to the new members as well!

Hi Mike & everyone
I went to the one in winston. It was just OK. There were maybe 200 people there. I had maybe 5 come by and talk to me but there were others there with Fair Tax signs there I didnt get to talk too. I did fine out they will be holding a new/first Tea Party in King NC on July 4. I am sure they will be others that day also. Good to see you going to Raleigh cant wate for news from there. I see we have 2 new members here I would like to welcome them here.

OK all... I've been inactive for a while. Lots of stuff going on - not all of it is fun, but necessary. I would like to hear from anyone who went to any of the tea parties recently - how did it go?
Also, I have signed up for Saturday 4-9 PM booth duty at the NCGOP Convention in Raleigh. I'll give an update when possible.

John - I will get back with you regarding tomorrow's Tea Party.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town Saturday.

I went to the Kville tea party. About 250 people there. It covered a lot more than just taxes, which took it off point I thought. The focus was on local government and local spending, as in Kernersville. I did get one sign up.

Ryan do you want to travel together tomorrow?
