Pick one. How about may 3, kind of early so the weekend is not affected too much. 8 or 8:30 at panera. If we can arrive at a time and place then we can do emails.

Mike - good call - apparently I should not be the one setting dates! :-)

Agenda: Grass Roots! What local events are happening where we can set up a table? Where can we find a large group of people? Bring ideas to the meeting.

What I want to avoid is having a small number of people show up and then everybody loses interest - that happened to the original WS crew who met in Rural Hall...

I will be bringing several new faces with me, and hope to convince more. Mike or John - what's the best way to mass-e-mail everyone in this group? is that possible?

Ryan,
March 8th? May 3rd, maybe? Just playin. Weekends are great for me - weekdays are too busy.
There's also a Panera right up from where we met last time in Kernersville, but whatever works for all is good for me. I will defintely drive to make it happen.
Can we set an agenda? Any ideas?
Anyone else interested?? Any other ideas?
Please respond.

There are several Panera Breads in Winston-Salem, most directly off 40 or Business 40 (Miller St. near the hospital or Hanes Mall Blvd. near Hooters & Wild Wings).

Let's plan on Sunday, March 8th at 2pm in Winston-Salem.

Can I get some feedback from you guys?

Where is a panera bread or a deli or some place like Ryan described.
If we meet on a weekend it does not have to be a long meeting, hour or so.

All - great to see the activity on this page. I spoke with several people at the FairTax rally last week in Columbia, SC. They explained how they like to meet in public places like Panera Bread and place a bunch of FairTax books, pamphlets, etc. around the table near them. It's a good place for everyone to gather and you will more than likely draw the attention of a few people in the restaurant. I am in Winston-Salem, but am willing to travel if need be. Quick show of hands - who prefers to meet on week-nights, and who on weekends?? I vote for weekends as my work schedule is quite demanding.

Hi Mike
I am in Pfafftown on the other side of Winston-Salem. I am just like you I wont to see the Fair Tax passed. It is hard to get a group together that are really interrested in this. I think the people are out there we just need away to fine them. I am not good at public speaking, but can work in doing other things. I would like to get some yard sings to put out and see how that works, or may be do a table at wall mart or just about anything. If you would like you can find me at diggernc@hotmail.com

Hey All...
John just made a suggestion that we meet sometime soon, somewhere.
I am quite prepared to drive some distance from Union Cross, if someone would like to meet closer to home. I'll also provide transportation - Room for 3 more in the Forester.
I really do want to see this happen... it's important for my kids and grandson.
