Common Sense for our TEA Parties!

We the People of the United States of America are deeply troubled with the current direction of our great nation. At the core of our grievances is “taxation without representation” similar to that which our original American Patriots stood against at our nation’s founding.

Our elected officials have, over many decades, moved away from serving “Common Interests” of the people and of the nation to serving the “Special Interests” of Big Money Campaign Donors.

Killing off healthy competition in the public sector results in entrenched career politicians that support larger and larger government in order to satisfy “Big Money” campaign donors who keep them elected. The resulting special treatment kills off healthy competition in the private sector which results in economic bubbles and corporate bail-outs of companies that are deemed “too big to fail”.

Our mission at this Tea Party is to sound the alarm so others realize that we, as a nation, are taking a stand. We are committed to taking our country back. We are a silent majority no longer.

We the People demand a level playing field in both the public and private sector.
1. No more bail-outs period. Families and Small Businesses have to tighten their belts during economic downturns. Mega Corporations must do the same!
2. No more campaign donations by business and government entities period! Elected officials must compete by appealing to their individual constituents.
3. No more abusive taxation! We support massive tax reform that promotes wealth creation instead of wealth redistribution.
4. No more wasteful spending! We don’t need big government programs. Private Citizens know better than government how to spend their money and create prosperity.
5. No more mortgaging our future! Americans used to be born free. Now Americans are born with $48,000 of debt each!

We disagree with our current direction. Big Government is NOT the answer.
