Here is my response:
"I do not see how this fits with what I teach, and I teach several classes, so there would not be a large audience."

Josh, perhaps you could give a talk, much like you did at school, for our first meeting? I have two voting age grandsons and I know they could relate to you. Get back with me on the meeting thing.

Are you going to participate in the Fair Tax Columbus Caravan on April 15? Starts at 11:00 and will finish around 1:30.

I just sent Margaret the following message:
Margaret,

I am asking permission for Steve Curtis to present the FairTax Plan to North Central State College
for an extended education. One of the many reasons to give support to the FairTax is, as follows:

"Right now it is costing the treasury $945 billion per year to
provide income tax deductions, tax preferences, loopholes, credits,
and favors provided by the current tax code. Only those who qualify
for these breaks and itemize their returns receive these tax benefits
and 70% of filers do not itemize. Under the FairTax plan ALL
Americans receive monthly prebates to reimburse consumption taxes
paid up to the poverty level, guaranteeing that no American pays the
23% FairTax to purchase the basic necessities of life. These
prebates would cost the treasury $489 billion."

Thank you.

Hi, Josh.
I'm Nancy from Marion, Ohio. You're near Mansfield, aren't you? I'm anxious to get together with Fair Tax folks close to my area. If you can help me, I'd surely appreciate it.

Hi Josh!

I found it! You story at the beginning was great. With some more practice I think you will do a wonderful job. One thing... I never give the 23% tax rate unless asked. That seems to be true of all numbers and statistics, not jut the FairTax rate. People tend to hear that to stop listening to the content of a speech when numbers are inserted. I think that people's brains process numbers at a lower speed than words -- my opinion. As always use your best judgment.

Keep up the good work!

Dick's last name is Haynes and it appears Jodee is on Zap the IRS not on FairTax Nation. Sorry about that. I do not have contact information on her. Billie in Beavercreek

Copy of email I sent to Ms. Pucket

Ms. Pucket,
A student at NCSC, Josh Gregg, suggested that I contact you regarding The FairTax.

As the State Director for The FairTax, I would appreciate the opportunity to inform your students of the benefits offered by The FairTax, answer any questions they might have on why The FairTax is preferable to the current system of income taxation, what advantages The FairTax offers students and recent graduates, and why The FairTax is crucial to the future of the American economy.

While I prefer the standard presentation format because it allows me to focus on the benefits and structure of The FairTax, if you'd prefer, I would not be adverse to a debate or panel discussion on the relative merits of systems of taxation.

Please feel free to contact me at your convenience regarding a schedule and format or, if you are not the right person, please provide contact information for that office.

Josh,
Sorry we got cut-off. I tried going to North Central State College in Manfield, but was not able to find contact information for President Don Plotz. If you can send me something, or a contact for Student Activites (or whatever you call them), I'll be happy to follow up.
