One of the main features we trumpet when promoting the FairTax, is the fact that under the FairTax the Corporate income tax completely goes away, giving domestic corporations the best incentive to remain in America and expand, while enticing those who have fled to other shores to come back to the U.S. So, why don't we hear the CEOs of all such companies all standing up for The FairTax???!! They should be leading the charge in pushing Congress to adopt FairTax ASAP. Why aren't the lobbyists for the U.S. Corporations and big businesses actively promoting FairTax? I can't make any sense of this strange silence/indifference from this block that would benefit more than anyone in the U.S. economy.
Similarly, the owners of thousands of small businesses across America should be on board with FairTax for exactly the same reasons, and they should be promoting FairTax as a group. So, why aren't they???!! Has anyone representing FairTax been actively seeking the support of these people? Seems to me every CEO and small business owner in America should already have been called on by FairTax representatives explaining the merits of H.R.25 to them and their businesses. Has there been such a 'sales' effort mounted by FairTax people? If not, why not?

From my experience, large businesses (think GE, Home Depot, etc.) are against the FairTax. They are more concerned with using the tax code to control competition through lobbying than having an explicit zero rate. They can use other available strategies to reduce their own burdens such as transferring their costs to their US affiliates and their income to those in more favorable jurisdiction.
Large associations such as NAM and even the Chamber of Commerce haven't been supportive either. They both get money from their large members (same companies as above) for lobbying efforts in their behalf. It is their small members that should be supportive and most of them just aren't familiar with the FairTax. Just as the FairTax organization has a grass roots effort to bring individual Americans on board, we need an effort to bring the small businesses on board as well. NSBA (National Small Business Association) has endorsed the FairTax. The larger NFIB has not. They will tell you they can't support it until their member state organizations support it and the states will tell you they need to hear it from their individual members at that level. Again, this needs to be worked at the individual business level. We should have tools to make this easier.
You'll find the same thing in the Unions. I've had union leaders at the district level support the FairTax, but once their move up to the state level, they were told they had to drop their support. They can only do that to the point their membership demands they support it.
Regarding a website, national AFFT started to develop one a couple years ago but dropped the effort. It would have had a general support page with the basics for business on the first landing page and back pages to sign a petition, spread the word among their peers, make a donation, contact their legislator and eventually a page with specific benefits for each industry. I still feel that is needed. It would allow us to quickly pass basics for their industry to any small business and get their supporting signature. Possibly that information could be shared with leaders in any given districts. If we had an industry drop down box for each industry on the sign up page, we would have good information to share with our district reps and senators regarding support by that industry. My thoughts.
I too feel the AFFT has seriously dropped the ball when it comes to their web site. It could be SOOOO much better than it is. What you describe would be great. It can't be for a lack of funds. There are likely supporters that would work on it for free if necessary.
