Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25
Government has right to take it all
Today proves the point that the Government CAN take it ALL if they choose to.
Granted it was the bonus checks given to employees of AIG that has been so highly publizied but THEY are taking 90% of the bonus in taxes. This is proof that they can take it all. We must get the Fair Tax in and take the 16th amendment out!
People have never believed me when I tell them that this can happen if they choose to take it.
I know it is a sore subject (AIG bonuses) but it does make the Fair Tax look better to many of the people I will talk to now with this example.
Already today I had someone who I told this to, they said that they should take the AIG bonus money and that that does not prove they would do that to anyone else!
It should be an eye opener of the possibilities!

The HORRIBLE possibilites...but this was just a SMOKESCREEN to what they really did...printed 1$trillion dollars.
WOW...who'd a thunk we'd be living in such times and all because of a 300ish people! It is absolutely WRONG that they think they can tax that $$$ and 90% and then there is Pelosi calling illegals "American" and it un-American to rade businesses hiring illegals. HELLOoooo What country is she from?

Jay Leno even gave his concerns to Obama on the late show last night. And what really got me is that instead of saying he will veto the bill Obama completely sidestepped the question. Who's next? Members of conservative groups? Or even worse, members of Fair Tax Nation? This is the most single abuse of the tax system I have ever seen, and it's only the beginning. We better step up and give this movement every thing we have.

Yes, my point was just that! They did this with no regret and now that they have seen how easy it was.....we need to be prepared for more!
They enjoyed doing it too! No there will be no veto, just more of the same. And another bad part of it is that AIG is not punished at all! Only the employees who work there.

There is talk of them confiscating "our" retirement funds so that they can control that money too. The talk I've heard is that they propose to put that money in the social security fund and it will then be spread around as they see fit. In otherwords, give it to the illegals and those that have never contributed to social security let alone pay federal taxes. Anyone that does not believe that what has happened to the AIG employee can not happen to them is sadly mistaken. The only reason they taxed it at 90% and not 100% was as Chucky Schumer put it, the state and local governments will take care of the rest of it.

Go to http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll143.xml to see whether your Rep. voted for it or not. My Republican Rep did, and I promptly sent him a letter.
