FairTaxers! Finally there is a viable plan to get the FairTax done!! On Tuesday August 4, 2009 the Henderson County 912 Project will present “Texan” Tim Cox, M.B.A., speaking on his book, “Get Out Of Our House: Revolution! A New Plan for Selecting Representatives”. The acronym for the book and organization is GOOOH pronounced, “GO!”. GOOOH is a plan to unseat all existing members of the U.S. House of Representatives and replace them with sponsored grassroots conservative candidates. Larry Porter, a fellow FairTax supporter, will also be speaking as “Founding Father Thomas Paine.” He is good!

Comment by Douglas Daniel McCue on July 10, 2009 at 12:12pm: Now that sounds like one of the most positive and effective steps to promoting the FairTax since the '07 rally in Columbia, SC. I truly wish I could be there (I'm stuck on Adak Island, Alaska until October). I really would like to get a copy of this book. Flushing the Congress of stale politicians who think nothing of spending our country into ruin is becoming the most important task we have to saving our Republic. The 2nd will be getting the FairTax passed and working to get our economy back on track. We have to do this. Our elected officials have no desire, motive or will to do whats right for America. One of my favorite historical quotes is something Benjamin Franklin said after coming out of a long session when forming our Republic. He was asked by a woman..."What have you given us, sir?" And his reply..."A Republic Madam, if we can keep it." It seems our founding fathers knew that although they have put together one of the best forms of government ever designed, it's weakness would be from within...susceptible to corruption and hunger for power.
