Mike Rosen had a guest on his radio show today in Denver, did anyone hear the interview? I only caught a couple minutes of it.

Hi Hoss, in Ohio the Farm Bureau has an annual convention. This year it is December 2nd. We have had a booth the last couple of years. I don't know if it is doing any good; but the FARMER's have the most to gain from FairTax. Keep up the good work. We've got to get this passed. Billie in Beavercreek, OH

912 is a good idea, but I'm afraid we'd be preaching to the chior. I'd like to target a group that has more of a mix of members. We've been very successful at the info booth events in converting even "lefties" to FT. Remember, we need 2/3rds to get this done, so one party won't do it. Other ideas?

Steve -
I help lead a 912 group in the Montrose area. There are numerous 912 groups across the state that are ideal for what you are wanting to do. There is a state meeting of 912 leaders coming up on Nov. 14. If you will email me I will get you in touch with the organizer and see if we can get you on the agenda either at this meeting or the next one in January. Scott Streit spjcstreit@yahoo.com

We do need to get some movement going in Colorado. Several years ago we were doing talks at various county Farm Bureau leadership meetings. We’d address groups of 15 to 30 people and get them fired up about Fair Tax. Our goal was to get their state organization to endorse FT at their year-end meeting. We did get them to endorse support for a consumption tax, but not specifically FT. (We should have sent them some suggested text). We were also doing some info booths at the State fair and other events.

I’d be interested in talking to small groups again. We could set a simple goal for 2010 and work toward it. Anyone interested? Anybody got a projector to show PowerPoint slides with?

I’d be especially interested in speaking to groups that aren’t considered “right”, since to pass FT we’ll need support from both the right and left grass roots. We’ve done well with the right so far, but there are great arguments in favor of FT for the left as well if you explain it correctly.

Excited to see this up and running. I just found this on Smart Girl Politics. We've got to get the word out!

I am driving a rolling advertisement through 48 states. Something as simple as a message scrawled in the dirt on the back of my trailer doors is seen by hundreds in one day and thousands over a month's time. I am a courteous driver and try to be an example of professionalism at all times. I plan to advertise FairTax.org wherever I go from here forward.

Hi Scott Sorry to be so slow in answering. I just go from link to link and when I see something I copy and paste. Hoping it will get in the right area so people can take action. This net work is wonderful if only we could get the members to interact. Billie in Beavercreek, OH
