Pam and others,

I do appreciate your constructive critiques. No problem with that at all.

Please know that this is strictly a grassroots site. If there is a need, that need must be filled by a volunteer. Some states have seen this and are volunteering and it is working well for them.

Others, like Texas, are not doing that yet.

If you see something that needs to be done and it is not being done... please jump in and do it. Folks like Peter can really use your help. I have tea parties being addressed all across the state of Tennessee only because a few of us here are making it happen.

If you are waiting on someone else to do something, you may find yourself waiting a long time. Let's all work together and get it done.

Hi Brett and Pam - I actually agree with both of you. That is I agree that 1) I think we need to focus on the task at hand (enacting the FairTax) and not criticizing the site and 2) this site, in time, will need a serious overhaul and simplification.

But the bottom line is that we are all here for the same reason...so let's start building the base/foundation and uniting the different groups so we can become a strong, united force!

Sorry, it was meant to be constructive. I'm sure a lot of hard work went into this site.

I think that this is one of the easiest and most interesting sites around. As a matter of fact, I liked the format so much we used the ning platform for our Spicewood Lions Club site. Even the older members have figured out how to navigate the site to create discussions, make calendar events and RSVP to events. How about starting a creative debate about taxes or the constitution and stop criticizing the hard work of the people who have volunteered their time to create this site.

We have more action on our rodeo and horse forums than here. Not saying that to be mean but we get into some pretty good discussions about taxes and our Constitution and have thousands of members. Literally thousands. This site is hard to find, hard to navigate and is way too spread out. Just my humble opinion. People want to be united in this country on these tax issues and to help stop the trampling of our Constitution.

Hi Pam - we're still in the "new" phase of the site. We've only been in operation about 3 months, so we surely have a lot of room to grow and improve. What we REALLY need is people like you and me to get the word out and do the front-line work to recruit people. That's what is truly going to make a difference.

The FairTax was founded in Houston, TX and it is a complete travesty that our TX group only has 33 members. I am working to change that, and I believe that with your help we can be on our way!

Thank you for joining FairTax Nation and the TX group. The next thing to do is to locate your closest FairTax leader and connect with them.

You would have a ton of members here if people could find this place and I think you are missing a great opportunity by not plastering the Tax Day Tea Party thing all over this site and getting more people to pass out FairTax brochures! I came here looking for more info about what was happening at my courthouse square on the 15th and found nothing.

Okay, I made it. I went to FairTax.org then couldn't figure out how to get back here...very confusing website! Why not just have a map with the states on it for folks to click on and talk forum for all?

Hi John, I have printable files that I could e-mail you to have printed.
Our Tax System is Broken, we can Fix It on one side and the prebate chart is on the other side. I also have a new post card, we will be mailing to our reps that is really awesome. Also a file for the first FairTax Billboard. We have thes made into 12" x 18" placards for our Tea party and post office events.
If any of these would be of help to you, please e mail me at bgw366@woh.rr.com
FYI The bill boards are available at a cost as low as $ 150, if interested, Contact Rick Dobson, Rand Associates 937-294-1874

Hi John - I am coordinating a pick-up of some swag : plastic travel mugs, bumper stickers, and tri-folds. I am waiting on word back as to whether AFFT is doing anything at the tea parties....
