Was at the Missouri FairTax Rally yesterday and the most impressive speaker to my mind (forgive me Neal and Herman) was a young Democrat activist by the name of Jessica Wexler.



If they taped those speeches then I suggest you listen to this brave and insightful young lady. She represents our best chance of winning this struggle.

I would appreciate comments on this: Any details of The FairTax should be discussed only after the absolute neccesity of reverting back to the Constitutional principle of indirect taxation is understood.

I am planning on taking a road trip (from Nebraska) to what may well be the biggest 15Apr Tea Party in the nation in San Antonio. I look on the AFFT site and don't see anything about plans anywhere.

It can go either way with Dems. They are closed minded currently b/c of party politics and viewing it as a Rep issue. We have to stress the individual benefits and benefits for society as a whole. Show how low-income will prosper under the FairTax, widen tax base, and increase jobs. Yes, liberty matters but a Dem will not believe a Rep saying that after Pres Bush got the Patriot Act passed, there is no trust.
