It is sponsored in part by Freedom Works, a group that professes to support both the FairTax and the Flat Tax, but has Steve Forbes (of the Flat Tax) sitting on its board. Steve has apparently donated so much money to 9-12 that they have now chosen to publicly support the Flat Tax, and for this event, all of the speakers will be speaking for the Flat Tax. This will drive all FairTaxers away from any connection with the 9-12 groups and they will lose our support at meetings and events. Does GOOOH want to stay with 9-12? It could be a direct contradiction.
