Tax preparer announces near half of filers pay no income tax

Deloitte and Touche yesterday revealed that almost half of the filers in the U.S. paid no income tax.  That's distorting the truth at best when you consider payroll taxes (Social Security and Medicare) and taxes embedded in the products and services we buy.  You may agree that this offers evidence why many politicians are reluctant to co-sponsor H.R. 25 which would enable the FairTax.   Your thoughts?    See More

In 2003 the Greene County (Ohio) Commissioners signed a no-bid contract with the Dayton Development Coalition for $1.9 million. The Coalition in turn noncompetitively assigned work to The Greentree Group and Washington lobbyist, PMA Group. During the three year period of that contract, the Dayton Development Coalition paid its CEO over $500,000 and PMA about $520,000. Welcome to FairTax Nation!

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.

Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us also.
