Please keep topics posted on FairTax Nation about moving the FairTax grassroots forward. We understand that there are grave concerns to many but this site has a specific purpose.

I apologize for such lengthy post’s and will refrain from doing to much of that. It’s just that I, like many others, see or hear of something being done each day by the current administration that is so radical and detrimental to the America I know that I am very afraid we are going to loose it. The desire to do something is overwhelming at times and I think a lot of us feel the letters and calls to our representatives are just not enough.

It seems we are under attack. I've been generally aware, over the years, of the progressive movement to undermine our founding principles and morality but did not think I would live to see it. It is happening before our eyes. This makes it even more an imperative that the Fairfax is enacted. The IRS, as the enforcement arm of the USSA which is birthing under the current POTUS, will be used to control our actions and smother our freedoms to a much larger degree than they do today. I’ll do my part and hopefully a very large unified voice can emerge from the millions that are looking for a way to respond.

If anyone is interested our political representatives just passed the biggest debt bill that has ever existed. How do you think they are going to get the money to pay for this debt, through the tax payers. Now, more than ever, we need the fair tax to protect the workers and make the people that don't pay taxes carry their share of the load.

Tamara, Rush has said this week that there is a ground swell happening against this Porkulus bill and what this administration has been doing. Does anyone have an ideal how to ride this wave of discontent? I know that getting the word out about the Fair Tax is key, I just wonder if there is any way we can take advantage of what's starting to happen.

Tamara, you are correct, this will take lots of work. Remember back a few months ago when congress and the president tried to push(ram down our throats) through an immigration reform bill, it was a grassroots movement that stopped it. It is that type grassroots effort that is needed to move the FairTax forward. This is not a liberal or conservative issue, it is a "taxpayer issue". Remember congressmen and senators work for us, not us for them. If people don't have the time to volunteer at events, it only takes a few minutes to contact your congressmen, via email, to express your opinion and ask that he support the FairTax. There is a link on FairTax.org that will take you to their congressional websites, from there it is easy to email them.
