I only have an AAS degeree, I know many of you have more college education than that but one of the things that was stressed in several courses was goal setting, I'm possitive that has been the case in many of your courses as well. Especially in business management classes. If the Fair Tax has set goals each year they have kept them a secret, I've been on their mailing list for years and I've never seen specific goals laid out. I have mentioned a more "organized" approach several time and sort of rebuffed saying this is a grassroots movement. What is to say grassroots can't organize into beautiful sod? There are a couple of states that seem to be organized on the state level and that is commendable. Can we make it 50 states in 2009?

Please respond and let's make this happen.

I'm pretty sure the Sept 11th date is Dead on Arrival. Not sure who came up with that but he/she should probably run it by people 1st. That is a sacred day and how stupid will we look protesting. I have heard the date has moved to Sept 12th, which imo is just as bad. I know the desire to keep the movement up, but is it too hard to use common sense? If I ran the Tea Party events, they would be run on April 22, October 19, & December 16.. these are the actual dates of the tea parties against the British..

Nancy-
The next webinar is August 27th. To make remembering them easier they will be on the 4th Thursday of each month (except for December this year which is Christmas Eve).

RE: LIBER-TEA PARTY tomorrow: All tables will be marked for specific groups. Meet @ FairTax table. Volunteers needed to pass out Fair Tax fliers & get petitions signed, etc.

If any of you can make copies of Fair Tax for Seniors from fairtax.org, please do! These are needed! Any other pertinent info from fairtax.org appeals to you, make copies for distribution tomorrow.

See you @ the OH Statehouse tomorrow @ 1pm!

In WA state, we are looking at doing a ballot initiative to repeal the 16th Amendment (need 38 states to repeal, 75% of all) as a means of educating EVERY VOTER (through voter guide) and placing politicians on notice we will bypass them if they cling to their bribes from lobbyists and fail to free the citizenry from unpaid accounting slavery to income tax code enforcers.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Will you so move in your state as well?

I don't know if all of you received this information! So I am copy and paste again. I think this is a good talking point for FairTax. Billie in Beavercreek

"For the year as a whole, corporate income tax collections fell most dramatically, as the state (Ohio) took in 26.3 percent less from businesses in 2009 than in 2008. Personal income taxes fell by 12.2 percent while sales taxes were off 8.8 percent."

We've had good responses from Strong FairTax supporter Billie in each of the 3 Webinars we have done so far. June's did not have as high an attendance as the others though.
The announcement will be out for this months (July 23) in a couple of days.

Join Central Florida Community Coordinator Marc Manieri and myself for our monthly Understanding The FairTax Webinar from your home with your computer on Thursday, June 25th from 8pm – 8:45pm EDST. You must register to participate.

Click on the following link to register: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/261067210. After registering you will receive a confirmation email and instructions for signing on. If you use a SPAM blocker, please check it for the confirmation from "gotomeeting.com".

The FairTax is a forward thinking solution to our current tax code abomination - a tax code so complex it now tops 67,000 pages - and worse, stifles economic growth and punishes people and businesses for saving and investing.

This month's webinar will highlight what the VAT (Value Added Tax) is - which is currently being proposed as an additional tax on top of our income tax as a federal government revenue solution - why it's not a good solution for America and why the FairTax is a better solution.

We'll do an overview of the FairTax plan also and have a Q & A session to wrap up the call.

The webinar is an excellent means to introduce people who cannot get to a FairTax meeting or with a volunteer for an accurate explanation of the FairTax. These people are an untapped source of supporters that we need to get on board the FairTax mission.

Remember to click on this link to register for the webinar: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/261067210 and then to join us Thursday evening, 8 PM EDST, 5 PM West coast time.
