I only have an AAS degeree, I know many of you have more college education than that but one of the things that was stressed in several courses was goal setting, I'm possitive that has been the case in many of your courses as well. Especially in business management classes. If the Fair Tax has set goals each year they have kept them a secret, I've been on their mailing list for years and I've never seen specific goals laid out. I have mentioned a more "organized" approach several time and sort of rebuffed saying this is a grassroots movement. What is to say grassroots can't organize into beautiful sod? There are a couple of states that seem to be organized on the state level and that is commendable. Can we make it 50 states in 2009?

Please respond and let's make this happen.

Can anyone give me an updated report/link for current federal revenue collection statistics? I thought someone had found a link to a recent report showing it plummeting as expected.

Karen/Jeff: Look for Governor Mike Huckabee to address this issue and confusion on his Fox news "Huckabee" tonight. Keep up the comments.

I think this is good for the Fair Tax. It just shows how politicans really feel about our pocketbooks.

This VAT issue is becoming a NIGHTMARE for our cause!! Only Fox News is getting it 1/2 way right. The rest of the networks are equating it to the Fair Tax.

Just a Reminder: New FairTax Webinar Thursday, May 28th, at 8 PM Eastern. Following up on last month’s introduction to the FairTax, Marc Manieri’s second live Internet seminar will look at the need for stability of government revenue. Marc will contrast stability in the current income tax system with the stability of a consumption tax (i.e. the FairTax).
There will be a presentation followed by Q&A. Audience participation is encouraged. To attend (from the comfort of your own home, of course) you need to register in advance. Why not take a moment right now? Go to https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/267258506">.
As always, please tell your friends and relatives around the country to participate, too. You did a great job last month. We had more people from outside Central Florida participate in the first webinar than people from our local group!

Jay Thomas hosts a radio show on XM Radio. He was just on Power Grid on CNBC discussing a VAT. I emailed his producer and suggested he have a FairTax representative on the show to discuss the concept.

"Preventative Detentions?" http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/21/us/politics/21obama.html?_r=1&ref=todayspaper

Is it still save to display our fair tax stickers?

This is in reference to the excellent form designed above. Add to it on the Email line, the parenthetical promise of "never shared" as in the address and phone lines, and you'll have a winner.

If anyone has saved letters written to their congressman and would be willing to share them I could use them. We are compiling them on a page on our web site for use in our congressional letter writing campaign as detailed on my page on FairTax Nation. Please send them to me at smartytax@sbcglobal.net . I appreciate any that are sent and you can consider yourself owed. I already owe Dennis (MN) some venison sausage so I'll just add you to the list.
Thanks, Bob
