I only have an AAS degeree, I know many of you have more college education than that but one of the things that was stressed in several courses was goal setting, I'm possitive that has been the case in many of your courses as well. Especially in business management classes. If the Fair Tax has set goals each year they have kept them a secret, I've been on their mailing list for years and I've never seen specific goals laid out. I have mentioned a more "organized" approach several time and sort of rebuffed saying this is a grassroots movement. What is to say grassroots can't organize into beautiful sod? There are a couple of states that seem to be organized on the state level and that is commendable. Can we make it 50 states in 2009?

Please respond and let's make this happen.

Carol, Ken Hougland is who you need to talk to about radio interviews. He is doing them all the time. It would be good to have a crew that called in evry time he or someone else was talking about FairTax on the radio.

FairTax on the Radio - Thank You Laura McCue for posting an up coming radio discussion on the FairTax as an event on this site. Altho' the station is out of my range, I listened on the internet and was able to call in to plug this site and our own.

If you know of upcoming radio interviews or discussions, please post them with station website and phone number. There were only 3 calls, 2 pro fairtax and one against. I don't want to shut down discussion, but we want to make sure that listeners get the impression that those who understand the FairTax, overwhelmingly support it.

I don't know Pete Burguess, who was the FairTax supporter on this show, but I was impressed with his grasp of the facts and numbers! I hope he's on this site. GREAT JOB!

Me and my two amigos are going to Kansas Days at the last of the month. FairtaxKC plans to be out in force for Kansas Days which is really cool. I hope to meet all of them and get their secrets.

I am trying to get people to meet-up every other week at a Starbucks, not much luck here in Wichita.

We are also doing web radio at http://fairtaxfightclub.com

I was just about rethink the web radio project when I heard another guy interview a U.S. Congressmen on his web radio show. Now I have a new goal.

Keep the Faith.

The 1,000,000 members for FairTaxNation is already in sight. With 500 in 3 weeks, we only have to double the number every 21 days to have 1,024,000 members in just 33 weeks. Any member who signs up on this site can easily get at least one person to join every 21 days. That's all it will take to reach 1 million+ in the next 33 weeks. We'll then have 2,000,000 by January 1, 2010. My prediction.

Our goal in Alabama District 4 is to get our Congressman (Robert Aderholt) to sign on as a co-sponsor of H.R. 25, and to get at least one working FairTax group established in each of the 14 counties comprising Dist 4. We are planning a March 28 Rally in Jasper, AL (Walker County) with the intent of using the model created to hold rallies in the other counties, where we can find one or two supporters to help with the local arrangements and promotion.

I agree totally. Our group only needed file sharing when someone developed a flier so others could print it out on their own without losing the formatting. The designer of the file didn't have to send it to everyone who wanted it, but it was available for those who did want it.

I was just suggesting that an outside file sharing site might not be necessary. I just thought it would be a good idea to keep people here on FTN instead of clicking on a link that takes them elsewhere. I think more people will use the files if they are right here. Make it as easy a possible for users.

Maybe I'm not understanding what the goal is. If we want to copy and paste on this site for others to copy, why do we need a file sharing mechanism? I copied the mediafire info from our local message board that we have used to post fliers that everyone can download. True, you don't know what is in the file, but we know who submitted the link and which flier and event is in the download. It was used to maintain formatting in the doc.

As for the button for FairTaxNation, a fly-over can be added that gives the site address.
