I only have an AAS degeree, I know many of you have more college education than that but one of the things that was stressed in several courses was goal setting, I'm possitive that has been the case in many of your courses as well. Especially in business management classes. If the Fair Tax has set goals each year they have kept them a secret, I've been on their mailing list for years and I've never seen specific goals laid out. I have mentioned a more "organized" approach several time and sort of rebuffed saying this is a grassroots movement. What is to say grassroots can't organize into beautiful sod? There are a couple of states that seem to be organized on the state level and that is commendable. Can we make it 50 states in 2009?

Please respond and let's make this happen.

I live in samll town USA and I kept emailing our local newspaper with links to other news stories of The Fair Tax articles from around the country. Asking them, why they were not writing even a small note or column on this. Well, they took care of it finally, they did an interview with me and had a photo as well, on the front page. AWARENESS to the public! I had also sent a letter to the editor, for this Sunday, EDUCATING the public.

My next move now is to get a public meeting place for discussion and some local action.
Small towns of this country need to start acting, that is why they call it "GRASSROOTS". If all our small towns act and get more organized, the numbers add up quickly. The larger cities have the population but small towns come together and able join ranks with family, friends, fellow church members.

FYI...the economist that drafted the economics letter we refer to and solicited other economists to join him has now joined the Nation.

David is a Ph.D economist at the University of Viginia at Wise and also has a financial planning company. Obviously, he is also a strong supporter of the FairTax

Keep stamping "FairTax, Not Income Tax" on envelopes and bills.

The website where a FairTax stamp can be orderd is:

Peter, How about "Young Adults". You're definitely not middle aged like some of us :-) and that would encompass 18+ adults.

Have the people who have commented on the House Ways and Committe seen my forum or blog on this site regarding same? I have attached a spreadsheet of all memebrs contact info that can be used for a mail merge. I have sent to letter and plan on sending one every 10 days or so until April 15. I would like everyone to do the same.
