OHIO has 900 members on FairTax Nation. Originally each State was ask to have 1000 members. If you can get just one person to join we would be way over the top. Everyone has a talent and we need your help. Also, FairTax has www.OnlineTaxRevolt.com We would like you to check it out. You can see your progress walking to Washington D.C. Also, we need your comments on FairTax Nation. Let us know what is happening in your area. Thanks. Billie in Beavercreek

Teresa, If Steve Austria is so enthusiastic about the FairTax, why won't he sign on as a co-sponsor? I believe he is just trying to appease us with words. Just like the "great one" who currently sits in the oval office. Do not be decieved by the congressman. His answer to the tax problem is HR982. A bill that does not do what needs to be done, but does maintain control over the masses and assures Washington politicians keep the power they crave.

I understand Eric Deaton is a FairTax supporter. He is running for Senate. He claims he will only be there for one term. He believes in term limits and controlling the spending. www.deatonforsenate.com or info@deatonforsenate.com

Here is John Boehner's schedule:

The "Open Door" program gives Eighth District residents the opportunity to meet face-to-face with a member of Boehner's congressional staff to ask questions, discuss problems, and offer opinions about issues related to the federal government.

Boehner's staff will be at the following locations NEXT TUESDAY, March 16, 2010:

9 AM - Huber Heights City Hall (6131 Taylorsville Road)

10:30 AM - Huber Heights Senior Center (6428 Chambersburg Road)

2:30 PM - Riverside Municipal Building (1791 Harshman Road)

And Congressman Boehner's staff will also be on hand at the following locations NEXT THURSDAY, March 18, 2010:

Billie I agree with you more than ever! If we goto the Ohio Fairtax web site you'll see the list of congressman/Congresswomen that are running for election. I counted a total of 6 that support and will Co-sponsor the Bill. If they are elected, then I believe Steve will follow suite! The Primary election is where you are going to get politician who supports the Fair Tax. After the primary we are going to have to work are A#$^% off to get them elected in the General election!!!!!

It will never get to the floor if we do not get co-sponsors. He probably is aware of that. We need all of our representatives to Co-Sponsor HR25/S296 quickly. It could help to save this Country. Steve Austria has told us that before, but he has NOT co-sponsored our bill. Everyone please call, fax, or e-mail him that we know he is interested and we need his help.

I attended a dinner last night and spoke to U.S. Congresman Steve Austria and he was more than enthusiastic about the FairTax and told me to my face that if it ever reached the House floor for a vote he "would vote Yes".

Hey Billie,

Thanks for posting the info on Steve Christopher. We had a lot of folks come forward and help!

Grassroots volunteers throughout the state worked through the weekend to perform an internal review on the copies of the petitions Steve submitted to the Secretary of State. Instead of the 75% invalid rate implied by Jennifer Brunner's press leak, we have found that consistently more than 75% of the signatures submitted were valid. Jennifer Brunner has some explaining to do, and Steve will be demanding that she do just that. Stay tuned. Better yet, go to Steve's website and join the team! www.stevechristopher.org

Here is what Jamie Wheeler says and I agree:

Jamie Wheeler said… We need boots on the ground in every state in addition to DC on April 15. I know I've asked supports in my state to call, fax or email to "Cosponsor the FairTax NOW" so that no matter where they go they will hear FairTax, FairTax, FairTax!! We are definately living in exciting times...as well as a bit scary if we don't get this country turned around!

E-mail from Lisa Woods:
Greetings,

As many of you have heard, there is a news report issued at the close of business Friday indicating that the Secretary of State has disqualified three of her competitors in the US Senate race, as well as two candidates for Attorney General, including Steve Christopher. The report indicates that nearly 3/4 of all signatures turned in for Steve were ruled to be invalid. We don't believe that.

Because no official communication has been received and nothing can be confirmed over the weekend, the Steve Christopher campaign is 1) proceeding as planned until further notice except that 2) it is in desperate need of volunteers to help do an internal review of the petitions/signatures, and respond aggressively to this alleged ruling by Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.

We need a volunteer to lookup signatories on a copy of the voter file, and mark the entry as either valid or invalid, based upon the data in the voter file (we can't verify signatures, only the county BOE's have that).

All volunteers are to contact Jill Chrisopher at j.christopher922@yahoo.com and Jim at jimwoods@mcfan.org to volunteer, so that we can keep track of who is working what and send them the instructions. Those who already have an electronic voter file for their county are especially welcome. Those who don't, please so indicate and we will send the instructions that will help you do it yourself; or if you can't do it we'll do it for you and email it to you. Note that these will be stripped down files only useful for confirming voter registration and party preference, not full walking lists. Jill will be getting sending PDF copies of the petitions to the volunteers for them to use to verify against the voter files.

This matter is urgent, and the Christopher campaign would like to know exactly where they stand by 6 PM Sunday night. Please see list below which counties need to be covered.

Thank you.

In God We Trust,

Lisa Woods
