I hope you are aware of what is going on in Ohio with the Republican canidates for Attorney General and Auditor of the State. I looks like Money Talks.

I emailed the organizer of the event & they didn't have any time left for an additional speaker. She did, however say that she wanted to learn more about us & we are getting together next week to meet.

Barbara, CJ & Brad, and me went to Columbus for the "Taxed to the Max" rally. The good thing they moved it into the Hyatt, the bad thing I don't think people knew it was moved. There were great speakers. I regretted that FairTax did NOT have a speaker. We did take the shirts and hats to sell and of course we had our signs. I hope they do it again when the weather is warmer and have a FairTax representative.

Subject: Taxed to the Max Rally THIS SATURDAY in Columbus

Taxed to the Max Rally THIS SATURDAY in Columbus

Pull out the long john's and the carrharts and come join in the fun!

Please join Americans for Prosperity, the Dayton Tea Party, the Columbus Tea Party, Ohio Freedom Alliance, Citizens United to End Ohio's Estate Tax, Coalition Opposed to Additional Spending and Taxes, and Ohio Citizens Accounting Standards Board at a 2 p.m. Rally on Capitol Square in Columbus. We will be demanding that Ohio's legislature get spending under control and stop treating taxpayers like an ATM every time they run out of cash. The rally will be held in front of a 15-foot-tall inflatable ATM machine to drive the point home that Ohio's citizens are "Already Taxed to the Max."

U.S. Senate candidate Rob Portman will be the featured speaker at the Already Taxed to the Max Rally this Saturday in Columbus. Also speaking will be State Rep. John Adams (who recently introduced a bill to phase out Ohio's income tax), State Rep. Seth Morgan (Ohio Auditor candidate), radio talk-show host Dirk Thompson, and Jason Rink.

This is taken from the FamilyfirstPAC.org website

Action Step: Tell Ohio Republican Party Chairman Kevin DeWine that we do not want liberal candidates like Mike DeWine! Kevin DeWine just engineered a switch of candidates on the 2010 ticket, pitting one conservative against another for State Auditor, thus reducing the number of conservatives on the November ballot. Kevin's deal also gives liberal Mike DeWine (his cousin) a clear pass with no opponent. Leave a brief, polite message for Chairman DeWine at 614-228-2481 or by e-mail: DeWine@OhioGOP.org

Why is the party endorsing anyone before the primary? That is Washington style politics. Haven't they learned form NY 23 and Mass Senate race that we the people want control no to be controlled?

This is a good example why we need to vote in precinct captains with a constitutional focus. We need candidates that understand the meaning of the Constitution and will move back to rule of law decisions. The best quote regarding our current political environment I've run across so far is from Frederick Bastiat, an early 19th century French statesman and self educated economist - "When law and morality contradict each other, the citizen has the cruel alternative of either losing his moral sense or losing his respect for the law." quoted from "The Law" English translation 1850. The law and morality must compliment each other or we are dead to freedom.
