Hey, that is good to know about Matt. Matt and Jim both seem to be good strong candidates for the 16th.

Hey Lisa, I invited Matt Miller to one of our FairTax presentations about 3 years ago when he was running for congress then. He came by our booth at the Stark County Fair this year and we brought him up to speed on the Fair Tax and he also supports it Too! 2010 may be a great year for us here in the 16th District and also the 18th District. We may gain 2 Co-sponsors. I believe the most important election will be the primary because we have to find the congressman who supports the fair tax and vote him in and stand behind him during the general election.

Hi All,

The Tea Parties have been great. I did not make the DC march but I was there in spirit! We had a MCFAN meeting that morning. Jim Renacci who is running for the 16th District was our guest speaker. I believe he said he supports the Fair Tax. Does any one know if Matt Miller does?

Anyway, thanks Barb and all the others who went to DC!

I'll try to make the event, but won't know if I have to be in Cincinnati until Thurs. Will let Barb know.

Barb, I wish we could have been there with all of you. I've seen some video, WOW doesn't even start to cover it. Right now, I can't make the protest, but I'll work on trying to make it. God Bless the good works you are doing.

Hi All!
Just a short note to say how thrilling it was to be a part of the DC March on Sept 12! There was just a SEA of American patriots expressing their concerns with our current administration and doing it very peacefully. The sight of SOOOO many was Awesome !!
I was very proud to be an American and to be a part of this historical day!!

FYI :Senator Sherrod Brown is going to be speaking at The Dayton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Breakfast.
When: Friday Sept 18
Time: 7:30 am to 9 am
Where: Crown Plaza Hotel
33 E 5th. Dayton OH 45402

I would like for us to pickett ( peacefully with signs of your concerns ) around the block to let Senator Brown know that we are NOT going away and he needs to understand that he works for us and WE WILL FIRE HIM if he keeps ignoring the wishes of those he represents!
Please e-mail me ASAP to let me know if you will be able to participate...

I think if we do not have enough to make a good showing, it would be couter productive to our cause.
HOPE WE Can Get Enough to have a good showing !!! JUST LET ME KNOW

Barbara Wilson 937-298-5092

PS I know how drained some of us are ( I got back in Dayton after DC at 5am Sun ) But I am compelled to do what I can do to stop the insanity of this Government !!

I hope everyone knows that TODAY is the Voice of America Tea Party at West Chester, OH (north of Cincinnati) from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. FairTax will have a booth. We will be selling black, red and a few white T-shirts. This is our fund raiser. Please come and enjoy the speakers, music, and socialize. Also, we would appreciate any help in passing out literature and selling or buying shirts, bumper stickers, etc. We hope to get the FairTax Nation petitions signed and add to our numbers in Ohio. We need help.

This was posted back in JUNE. Let's call and see what they are saying today.

Comment by Nancy L. Gatchel on June 30, 2009 at 12:35pm I phoned this committee and asked why there hasn't been any movement on the Fair Tax plan. Naturally I was given the common reasons critics contrive. Fortunately, I was ready for them. The staffer was polite and caught on immediately that I was pretty well informed.

I think what bothered me most was being informed that I was the first to call in about this issue. Please call in, FairTaxers. The staffer thought that there was little interest in Fair Tax among the people. These committees need to hear from us and hear from us often, they've got to know we're here.
