I talked to Scott after the Dayton Tea Party. According to him, he is still working on the Pre-Concert TP. He is keeping us in mind however.

Does Hannity want to have an Aug Tea Party here in OH before the Freedom Concert on the 21st?
There is one on Aug 1 at the State House in Col. It's being called the "Liber-Tea Party". I'm trying to get them to get Kevin Jackson to speak. He's an author, talk radio show host, and blogger who spoke briefly at the Midwest Fair Tax Rally. He told Steve that he'd gladly come to OH.
I contacted Kevin to see if he's open for that date and he is and is willing to come. Here's hoping! Check him out at Black Sphere.com.

If anyone wants to speak, you need to contact Robert L. Scott on FaceBook right away. Sean Hannity wants to have a Tea Party before the Aug. 21 Freedom Concert. I'm not sure how much time will be alloted for local speakers. Someone will want to start a conversation with Mr. Scott now.

Just wanted to let you all know we will be doing a presentation at the Greene County Republican Luncheon at Beef O'Brady's on July20th at 12:00 noon in Beavercreek. This is my first presentation to a larger group, so say a prayer for me. And if you can, Show up to lend support and keep me straight. Its usually a great time. Look forward to seeing whoever can make it.

Which event is Kate covering in Columbus?
Comment by Nancy L. Gatchel on June 23, 2009 at 4:47pm
Kate has graciously accepted the invitation to speak at the Columbus event. Thank you, Kate!
And thank you, Steve! Please come up to this event, if you have the time.

I think Kate gave a powerful speech at the Dayton Tea Party. Are you folks available for the Columbus Tea Party?

Please understand that I am not unbiased, being her husband, but I thought Kate Burch did a great job at the Dayton Tea Party. If others agree, I'm in a pretty good position to try to talk her into it.

I can do it, unless we've got someone else who feels comfortable with a large crowd. Any volunteers?
Comment by Nancy L. Gatchel on June 21, 2009 at 12:25pm
Steve, I'm still a bit nervous speaking to a large group, however I'm trying to mull this one over. My family thinks I can do it. Where would we be without those cheerleaders known as family! In a meeting room with a small group, I don't feel so nervous. I use some humor to put myself and everyone else at ease. I like Jamie Wheeler's style because that's more my nature. I'm thinking on it and doing it as quickly as I can since time is of the essence!
