We are going to be presenting the FairTax to the Medina County Friends and Neighbors (MCFAN.org) on 14 March at 8:30AM at the Golden Corral restaurant in Medina. This sounds like a great group with whom to build an aggressive coalition in Northeast Ohio. I encourage all FairTax supporters located in this area to join us for a discussion of the FairTax and how we can push the agenda forward. It will also be an opportunity for face-to-face meetings between those of us from the Southwest and those from the Northeast.
The cost is $8.00 (for Golden Corral buffet)

Comment by Dave Sibole on February 27, 2009 at 9:15pm: The HUCKPAC House Party last evening went really well. The Fair Taxers were represented very well. Steve had ample opportunities to comment and educate on the Fair Tax and he seized each one and got a lot of interest. We had the opportunity to mingle before and after the organized portion of the meeting and we got to individually talk one on one to many. Tony (Huckapedia) may add some comments and/or photos later. He was a gracious host and he assured us he would do it again.

That Brian fellow seemed to be pretty informed too. The only thing I had a problem with was his refernce to it as a "flat tax". But you set him straight quick!!

(My browser crashed once and my boss kept talking) but seemed to me that Brian was not really knowledgeable about the details and skeptical at first but liked what he heard. Hope he will become an advocate. What I noticed is when people really "get it" they can't understand why everyone doesn't "get it".
