Jim, Steve has had a change in plans and will be able to speak at Col. Tea party. I look forward to meeting him and am very much looking forward to hearing him speak.

OK. I'm in for $25. We need to make this happen. If everyone gives a little, no one has to give a lot!!!

HELP! HELP! The following message was sent out from Barbara Wilson about a week ago. I talked to her yesterday and she has not received any help toward making this event happen. I think this would be a great opportunity to educate more people about the FairTax! The booth cost for this event would be $ 100. I would be willing to go from Centerville OH with FairTax literature for all and hopefully with enough volunteers to man the booth. What I need from you is a small contribution to cover the $ 100 cost of the Booth. I will also be looking for a Speaker for this event. What an opportunity, lets seize the moment!!! The Bluegrass Tax Liberation Day is designed to be an educational festival to teach citizens about the founding ideas of America and liberty with a focus on protesting the stimulus plan, tax increases and an ever expanding government. We plan to bring together groups and people who would like to learn more about how they can help stop excessive government spending and taxation. The educational festival will have informational tables set up to learn more about the organizations in Kentucky who advocate for liberty, limited government, individual responsibility, private property rights, and free trade and will include games (like guess the weight of the printed federal register and tax code among others), face painting and music. We also plan to utilize The Pod, the tennis ball canon from Newton's Attic. ALL DONATIONS WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Do it today so plans can be finalized. Thank You. Send them to: Barbara G Wilson 8752 Shadycreek Dr Dayton, OH 45458

Nancy Gatchel sent me this message. If you know of someone please contact Steve Curtis or myself.

Do you know of anyone that can speak at Columbus Tea Party April 15? It's 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Tea party organizer, Justin Higgins, emailed me a little while ago and said it would be great; he's an ardent supporter of the Fair Tax. We're working on getting Rep. Pat Tiberi, but he may have scheduling conflict. I really provide a speaker for this event if I can. Your help will be greatly appreciated. (as if you don't have enough to do already!)

Steve, businesses or organizations that endorse can they have a link to their websites or is that just for sponsors and what is required to be a sponsor?

Sorry for the late post, but we had another great FairTax meeting at the Carrollton County Republicans Boosters on Saturday. Hats off to Dennis and Barb Strickler for putting it together.

Altogether, we had about 15-20 people there, but more importantly, we had people who had thought about the FairTax and were interested in learning more and promoting the FairTax in their area. One gentleman suggested we talk to farmers about painting their barns with the FairTax logo, just as we did for the Ohio bicentennial. (How'd you like to see a large FairTax logo on barns across Ohio!!!! Talk about exposure!!!) He volunteered to look into it and get back to us with costs, interest, etc.

In addition, we Jason, the organizer of the Canton Tea Party, at the meeting as well. He gave us an update on Tea Party preparations and how the FairTax was going to fit into the program.

Jim Kenny also attended the meeting, and, in addition to his other duties, has volunteered to be responsible for making and distributing all FairTax DVDs. If anyone has a DVD request, they should be forwarded to Jim and he'll take care of it.

On a funny note, we saw an event in New Philadelphia on the way home, and thought it was a Glen Beck event. We stopped, with the intention of distributing some FairTax literature, but, to our surprise, it turned out to be a rally for the "Freedom of Choice" legislation. Since we'd not been invited, and wasn't too sure of our reception, I exercised a modicum of discretion and quietly withdrew rather then interrupt the speaker with a FairTax pitch. I felt a little guilty, since I am sure some of the folks would also support the FairTax, but didn't want to ruffle feathers by mistake.

All in all, a great meeting in Carrollton, and more progress in spreading the FairTax message.

I think this will get you to the Glenn Beck site to post that you would like to see FairTax become law soon. Billie in Beavercreek
